Terms of service
These terms apply to restaurants that subscribe to Munshi. By using Munshi, you agree to them.
Who we are
Munshi is provided by Munshi, Near NADRA Office, Main Faisalabad–Lahore Road, Manawala, Pakistan ("we"). "You" means the restaurant business that subscribes, and everyone it gives access to.
The service
Munshi is software for running a restaurant: taking orders, kitchen tickets, online ordering, stock, purchases, staff, cash and reports. It runs in a web browser and needs an internet connection, though orders can continue for a while without one and are sent when the connection returns.
Accounts and access
- The account owner decides who gets access and what each role can do.
- You are responsible for everything done under your account, and for keeping PINs and passwords private.
- Tell us straight away if you think someone has used your account without permission.
Fees
The subscription costs Rs 6,000 a month or Rs 60,000 a year for one restaurant business, including all of its branches. Fees are paid in advance for each month or year. If we change our prices, we will tell you at least 30 days before the change applies to you.
Your data
- The records you keep in Munshi belong to you.
- You allow us to store and process them only to provide the service to you.
- Where you collect information about your customers or staff, you are responsible for having the right to do so. Our privacy policy (https://munshi.app/privacy) explains how we handle it.
Fair use
Do not use Munshi to break the law, to send spam, or to try to reach other restaurants' data or disrupt the service. We may suspend an account that does.
Availability
We work to keep Munshi running and your data safe, but we cannot promise it will never be interrupted. We may take it offline briefly for maintenance, and will try to do that outside business hours.
Stopping your subscription
You can stop at the end of any paid month or year. Before your account closes, you can ask us for a copy of your records. After it closes, we delete your data as described in our privacy policy.
Limits of our liability
As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profit, and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, and disputes will be handled by the courts of Lahore.
